Before she was Kellyanne Conway she was Kellyanne Fitzpatrick who participated in a charity event by doing a little bit of stand-up comedy, or what we can only call “alternative jokes.”
“I’m what they call a pundette, what’s the definition of a pundette? A lightweight lightweight.” She continues, “But the real definition of a pundette is someone who goes on TV constantly (rolls eyes) and just says the same thing over and over and over and over again. But never wears the same outfit twice.” The laughs were far and few, however, stand-up comedy is no easy task. Just ask anyone who’s quit the game after bombing for the first time.
Conway continued on with more pundette jokes, “How many pundettes can you fit in a shower? I don’t know either, they keep slipping down the drain.” Ouch. In the end, she tried, and it was for charity, but boy was it foreshadowing. She discusses how she runs a local poll in the same town as the charity event and then goes on to complain about media polls instantly contradicting herself. A skill she would take straight to the White House as part of the current administration.
So in tribute to Conway and comedy, enjoy what we can only assume is her favorite weekly late night television program. Saturday Night Live. “Looks like you finally made it!”
