This Bachelorette parody may have been cut from last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live, with host Chris Pine, but it definitely deserves attention – and, we hope, another shot in a future episode.
With the premiere of ABC’s first-ever Bachelor / Bachelorette season featuring a lead contestant of color fast approaching, everyone’s speculating about how the network will handle such a huge milestone. SNL, on the other hand, is thinking about all the ways it could go horribly, terribly wrong – like, for example, if a clueless white man showed up in traditional African garb, kind of like Chris Pine does here.
