It’s all happening. Back in 2012, we reported that a script to Super Troopers 2 had been completed. Then in late 2014 it was rumored that production was to begin in 2015. More time passed. In March of 2015 and IndieGoGo popped up for Super Troopers 2 and within one day it reached the $2M goal. Quite impressive.
With all that now behind us, and the funds having been raised with an agreement from 20th Century Fox stating it would release the film if the goal was met, we find ourselves now at day one of production. According to the Broken Lizard Facebook Official Page, “Action, chickenf**kers: back on set and we just shot the first new scene of #SuperTroopers2.” All of the Troopers of Broken Lizard will return and we couldn’t be any happier!
