Adult Swim is driving a Rickmobile across America this summer

Always the ones to bring the party, everyone’s friends over at Adult Swim just announced plans for a massive summer tour: the cross-country “Don’t Even Trip Road Trip,” which they’ll be taking in a giant, eerily lifelike “Rickmobile.”

Partly to promote the upcoming third season of Rick and Morty, and partly because it’s just an awesome idea, Adult Swim has created “the world’s biggest Rick! That’s actually a truck, but also a store!”

As for what they’ll be doing, other than selling dope merch, it’s really anyone’s guess – but there’s no doubt it’ll be great, since the network’s known for their offbeat marketing techniques, like choosing to throw carnivals instead of post-premiere parties and, you know, building a Transformer-style replica of an elderly alcoholic man just for fun.

Starting May 11th in their hometown of Atlanta, Adult Swim will hit the road through October, ending with a four-day stop at New York Comic Con. They’ll be hitting most major cities, and tons of small ones, too except for all the ones in the middle of the country – sorry, guys), and the full schedule is up now.

Follow @Rickmobile on Instagram for behind-the-scenes photos, which so far feature a tiny little Rick scowling and planning his trip.
