It appears Saturday Night Live doesn’t even seem to give a damn about the VP debate, as they opted to break from said debate in its cold open to allow Alec Baldwin to grab them by the pussy drop in and give some more of his Trump impression on the cold open of Saturday Night Live.
It makes you wonder if they had a different sketch in mind, and come Friday the writers just had to frantically rewrite the sketch. Considering they had the pick of the litter this week in Trump gaffes that led to a forced apology.
Also, if you didn’t catch it, it’s worth noting the self-critique the show made of itself with Melissa Villasenor calling out she was Latina portraying an Asian new anchor.
