NASHVILLE, TN: As reported by Deadline, popular clean comedian Jaron Myers has just announced release dates for his latest comedy project. Happier will be available on 800 Pound Gorilla’s new stand-up comedy streaming service, Gorilla Comedy+, starting on November 16 with a YouTube premiere to follow on December 15 at 7 PM CT.
With more than a million fans and two specials, Jaron Myers has made a career out of clean, fast, story-driven comedy. Here he turns his marriage, his upbringing, and his own questionable judgment into his best hour of stand-up yet. He covers the early years of marriage to a woman he admits is out of his league, a wildly entertaining story about a suspected home ghost, and the risk of saying hello to someone you follow online. He revisits a sheltered 1990s childhood in small-town Missouri, back when kids were turned loose until the streetlights came on. He recounts the night he confidently stopped a robbery that was not a robbery, and a crazy college dare. Along the way he lays out exactly what he would do if anyone were foolish enough to put him in charge, and he leaves the audience with a simple reminder: our brains will always find what they are trained to look for, so choose to look for joy.
Jaron says, “I’ve poured so much love, energy, and questionable life choices into this hour of comedy. It’s clean, high-energy, and built around a message I care about deeply. I’m just thrilled to finally share it with everyone.”
