Last week, Amy Schumer’s latest hour,
The Leather Special, premiered on Netflix – and the reviews were in almost immediately.
Somewhat surprisingly,
The Leather Special seemed to tank, generating hundreds of one- and two-star reviews in the first few days since its debut. Schumer is a huge, if a bit controversial, comic, so things just didn’t seem to add up.
Splitsider did a little research, and found that alt-right Redditors were launching campaigns to tank the special, calling for social media trolls to leave negative reviews of
The Leather Special, sight unseen.
And now, Schumer’s acknowledged their attempts with a perfectly positive “f*ck you” posted to Instagram.
