Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes co-star in new comedy Snatched, which is out next week – but before they can hit the premiere, they’ve got some other stuff to deal with.
In this spoof of Liam Neeson’s Taken, a frantic Schumer calls Sykes, worried she’s made bad decisions after doing shots with some dentists and giving them all her hotel room key. When she gets an unexpected visitor, it’s up to Sykes to save her – after she reminds Schumer that their new film, Snatched, is out May 12th, of course.
Snatched also stars Goldie Hawn, as Schumer’s mother, and it does have a bit of a Taken vibe: it’s set in South America, where the mother / daughter duo go to vacation – but end up getting taken, in a botched kidnapping plot.
