It’s the beginning of the end for one of HBO’s more influential shows. Girls returns for its sixth season on February 12th with the final foray into the assorted humiliations, disasters and rare triumphs of four very different twenty-something girls: Hannah, an aspiring writer; Marnie, an art gallery assistant and cousins Jessa and Shoshanna played by Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet respectively.
Over the years the show has brought in some notable names into the fold from the comedy universe including Alex Karpovsky, Andrew Rannells, Donald Glover, Colin Quinn, Jon Glaser, Gillian Jacobs, JOrma Tccone, Jenny Slate, Amy Schumer, Marc Maron, Henry Zebrowski, Mike Bribiglia, Bobby Moynihan, Horatio Sanz, Bridget Everett, Brooks Wheelan, Baron Vaughn, Ophira Eisenberg, Ana Gasteyer, and Seaton Smith. And of course, Adam Driver has gone on to very big things. In the trailer for the sixth season we see comedian and actor Chelsea Peretti featured.
The final season of Girls returns to HBO on Sunday, February 12th.
