According to The New York Times, actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer, Bob Odenkirk is set to write a comic memoir book. Odenkirk surely has some stories to tell as his resume boasts some of comedy’s finest credits.
Best known now for his role as Saul Goodman from AMC’s Breaking Bad and spin-off Better Call Saul, his most time has been spent in the world of comedy – which is where his roots lie. From 1987 – 1991 Odenkirk was hired as a writer at Saturday Night Live. Other writing credits include Get a Life, The Dennis Miller Show, The Ben Stiller Show and his own project Mr. Show. As an actor, his credits boast Nebraska, Hell and Back, The Giant Mechanical Man, Take Me Home Tonight, Let’s Go to Prison, and Run Ronnie Run! Television credits after Mr. Show‘s run include Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, How I Met Your Mother, Fargo, and W/ Bob & David.
Odenkirk has also won his share of awards including two Emmys, Screen Actors Award, and is currently nominated for two more Primetime Emmys including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He’s also lent his voice to such projects as Dr. Katz, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Crank Yankers, and Bob’s Burgers. I guess what we’re trying to say here is that this upcoming memoir is going to be damn good. We can’t wait.
There’s no time line yet for the book, but we do know that it will be coming out via Random House.
