Bob Odenkirk is pissed he didn’t get to Carpool Karaoke with James Corden

Look, it’s not that Bob Odenkirk wasn’t thrilled to be on James Corden’s couch, promoting his new movie Girlfriend’s Day – it’s just that he really, really wanted to sing instead.

Corden has invited plenty of people to join him for a round of Carpool Karaoke — a regular segment where the Late Late Show host traps guests in a car and won’t stop circling the CBS lot til they sing a song with him. It’s an Emmy award-winning concept, and while Carpool Karaokes with stars like Adele, Bruno Mars, and Madonna have gone crazy viral, Cordon doesn’t always pick musicians to cruise with – he even had Michelle Obama on.

So, when Odenkirk expresses mild irritation over his totally normal and boring panel appearance, Corden’s defense – “Singing is really key to it, Bob,“ – doesn’t quite hold up.

The only way to settle this? Let Odenkirk audition, of course, because being a bad singer never stopped anyone from trying.

Please enjoy Odenkirk’s very autotuned attempt at “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”:
