It’s hard to believe Dance Like You Don’t Need The Money, out this week, is comedian Carmen Lynch’s first album.
An alumni of Last Comic Standing with a handful of late night sets under her belt, Lynch has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, competed on @midnight… she’s even been the subject of a short film, directed by Chloe Sevigny, titled “Carmen” for fashion designer Miu Miu.
This debut album is a perfect first dive into Lynch’s material, smart and deceptively dark when delivered with her trademark, wide-eyed grin.
