It is official, the tweet-pacolypse has risen upon us, CBS has announced that the popular twitter-blog/book written by Justin Halpern “Shit my dad says” will be made into a sitcom. It gets better though, the part of the father will be played by non other than William Shatner. Do you need any reason to watch it?
Didn’t think so.
Shatner will be joined on screen by relative unknown Ryan Devlin who will take up the role of the son. The sitcom will follow the real life story of the blogs author,as he moves back in with his parents and interacts with his modern day philosopher dad. If you are one of the few who haven’t heard about the twitter-blog, you have no excuse to not check it out. Though the account only has 119 posts so far you can’t resist gems like: ““You seen my cell phone?…What’s it look like? Like two horses fucking. It’s a phone, son. It looks like a phone.”
Right now the biggest issue for CBS has been what to name the show? Since “shit” doesn’t fly on network TV expect to see the show be called something different before it comes to the air.
