The wait is (finally!) almost over: cult hit The Chris Gethard Show is back on television August 3rd.
It’ll be TCGS‘ first season on truTV, after spending several years at public access station Manhattan Neighborhood Network, and then two seasons at Fusion. The last episode of the completely unpredictable comedy / variety show aired in June of 2016, and until very recently, the fate of the beloved show was up in the air — but thanks to truTV, TCGS will be back soon, and with a few changes. For one, the show will be completely live, just like it used to be on public access — which means, even more than usual, literally anything can happen.
If you’re a TCGS newbie, lucky you — there are hundreds of hours of old episodes to catch up on, and you’ve got just enough time to get through them before August 3rd.
Episodes will air Thursdays at 11pm.
