Comedy Central’s first-ever “Colossal Clusterfest” will feature Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, and many, many more

The lineup for Comedy Central’s new comedy and music festival – the adorably titled Colossal Clusterfest – is finally here, and it’s a doozy.

The three-day fest, which takes over San Francisco from June 2nd through June 4th, will feature:

Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Silverman, Bill Burr, Tig Notaro, Fred Armisen, Chris Hardwick, Hannibal Buress, Rachel Bloom, Ron Funches, Chris Gethard, Abbi Jacobson, Ilana Glazer, Reggie Watts, Kyle Kinane, James Adomian, Naomi Ekperigin, Natasha Leggero, Moshe Kasher, Rory Scovel, Nate Bargatze, Pete Davidson, Roy Wood Jr., Michelle Buteau, Jo Firestone, Aparna Nancherla, Big Jay Oakerson, Dan Soder, Joe DeRosa, Anthony Jeselnik, and podcast tapings for Politically Re-Active, Beautiful/Anonymous, How Did This Get Made?, and 2 Dope Queens.

Plus – as if you needed any more motivation to get yourself to San Francisco – there will be musical performances from Ice Cube, Tegan and Sara, and Maya Rudolph’s Prince cover band, Princess. The festival also promises immersive experiences in environments for South Park, Seinfeld, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

“For a long time we’ve been really looking at the festival space,” Comedy Central president Kent Alterman said adding, “It’s a great opportunity to connect directly with our fans and utilize the talent that is part of the fabric of what we do on a daily basis. We’ve had experience with comedy festivals in different regards – those festivals are always very fractured experiences that are all over town,” Alterman added. “Several years ago we got to know these guys at Superfly by going to Bonnaroo [and] Outside Lands, and those festivals are just complete holistic experiences that bring people together, where everything is happening in this almost communal atmosphere.”

On June 4th, the final night of the festival, Comedy Central will present a live 90-minute on-air special surrounding the festival. It will be hosted by Chris Hardwick and feature a team of on-the-ground correspondents, taped performances, collaborations, highlights, interviews and behind-the-scenes segments from the entire weekend.

Festival organizers already released an image of how the festival plans to be laid out at San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, culminating with a live Comedy Central special.
