Denis Leary updates his classic “*sshole” song to take aim at Donald Trump

Denis Leary and James Corden dress up as Bill and Hillary Clinton and modify the words of Denis’ classic song “***hole” to pay homage to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

“*sshole” originally was released as a single from Denis Leary’s album No Cure for Cancer in 1993. The song became a minor hit, with the music video gaining airplay on MTV in censored form. The song originally used samples from Dolly Parton’s “Old Flames Can’t Hold a Candle to You”, so the complete writing list includes Leary himself, Chris Phillips, and Pebe Sebert and Hugh Moffatt, for the samples. In 1999, a Dutch version entitled “Eikel” was recorded by the Dutch comedy duo Lebbis & Jansen.

Leary has been nominated for his share of awards over the years including an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and a TV Critics Association Award. His voice can currently be heard in the Theaters as Diego in Ice Age: Collision Course.
