The new season of This Is Not Happening kicks off next week, October 13th. It’s the third season of the Ari Shaffir-hosted storytelling show and this season is stacked with comedians like Louie Anderson, Rory Scovel, Maria Bamford, and Joey Diaz around to tell their stories. Shaffir even recruited the likes of Andrew W.K. and Sal Volcano to stop by and tell their story in a strip club in Los Angeles.
Doug Stanhope drops by for season 3 to tell a story about in an attempt to get over an ex girlfriend he ended up stumbling into the potential girl of his dreams. Then, a threat emerges as Stanhope tries to assess the situation. He tries to size up the competition and then the story ends… darkly. In a way that that would only happen to Doug Stanhope.
