New York Comic Con has become more than just a mecca for all things pop culture. And comedy is no stranger to the annual gathering. More intertwined now than ever before, comedy will be running the gamut with panels, signing, showcases, and shows. For all of you making the journey to NYCC 2016, the 11th Annual, we’ve put together the complete comedy guide to help you cut through the clutter. Everyone from the Impractical Jokers to Jon Glaser and Dana Gould to Keegan Michael-Key will be in attendance this year. A lot of new shows and projects involving comedians will be on display and some will be returning with sneak peaks. So get out your calendars, download your schedule apps, and get ready to lock and load all the comedy goodies into your upcoming four day fun fest experience at the 11th Annual New York Comic Con running October 6th – 9th. Here’s your day-to-day breakdown that includes our very on panel, The Laugh Button Presents: The Superhero Fantasy Draft 2016.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5TH
The Adventures of Danny & Mike LIVE – Le Poisson Rouge Gallery

Join those infinite children Danny Tamberelli & Michael C. Maronna (The Adventures of Pete & Pete) for a night of LIVE podcasting at the Le Poisson Rouge Gallery as part of the 2016 New York Comic Con. It’ll be an evening full of tall tales, brand hating and 90’s nostalgia, all with a very special guest Ned Luke! The podcast is produced by Jeremy Balon and part of the Feral Audio podcast collective.

STARZ Presents: Ash vs Evil Dead – Hammerstein Ballroom

Stan Against Evil: Advanced Screening of Premiere Episode and Q&A – Room 1A06

Advanced screening of the premiere episode of IFC’s new horror-comedy series and Q&A with creator Dana Gould (The Simpsons), and stars John C. McGinley (Scrubs) and Janet Varney (The Legend of Korra). Stan Against Evil follows Stan (McGinley), a disgruntled former sheriff of a small town who was forced into retirement. When the new, tough sheriff Evie Barret (Varney) opens his eyes to the plague of angry demons haunting their town, Stan begrudgingly forms an alliance with her to fight them off.

Before his new hybrid comedy series Jon Glaser Loves Gear debuts on truTV, comedian Jon Glaser (Trainwreck, Parks and Recreation, Girls) comes to NYCC to discuss his greatest passion: GEAR. You like gear? You like Jon Glaser? Then you’ll like this Panel. You don’t like gear? You don’t like Jon Glaser? Maybe you’ll still like this Panel. Either way, Jon Glaser will still love gear.

Archer: Screening/Q&A – Hammerstein Ballroom

FX’s Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy that revolves around a former spy agency turned private investigation firm and its employees who use every seedy surveillance or investigation as another excuse to undermine, sabotage and betray each other for personal gain. Come see an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming eighth season and then join the voice cast of H. They select their ultimate team roster and defend their selections against the rest of the dais and you, the audience, who will ultimately decide who has the best team.

An Inside Look at People of Earth – Room 1A10

From Emmy winners Conan O’Brien (Conan) and Greg Daniels (The Office) and creator David Jenkins comes People of Earth, a half-hour single-camera comedy series about a support group for alien abductees. Join series star Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show) for a screening of the pilot episode followed by a Q&A. People of Earth centers on skeptical journalist Ozzie Graham (Cenac) who investigates a support group to write about the member’s supposed alien encounters. The more he digs into their oddball claims, however, the more he realizes a semblance of truth to their stories and, possibly, even signs that point to his own alien abduction. The onetime outsider now finds himself a part of this eclectic group of misfits, all the while struggling with the idea of knowing that life could exist beyond our world. Produced by Conaco LLC in association with Warner Horizon Television, People of Earth is coming this fall to TBS.

Join co-creators Casper Kelly (Too Many Cooks) and Dave Willis (Squidbillies) as they discuss what’s to come from the upcoming third season of Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell, a live-action workplace comedy set in Hell, premiering in October on Adult Swim. They will be joined by cast members Matt Servitto (Banshee), Dana Snyder (Squidbillies) and Craig Rowin (The Jack and Triumph Show).

DREAM CORP LLC
Creator Daniel Stessen (The Gold Sparrow), co-executive producer John Krasinski (The Office) and cast members Jon Gries (Napoleon Dynamite) and Nick Rutherford (The Office) invite you for a first look at the new original series, DREAM CORP LLC, premiering this October on Adult Swim. DREAM CORP LLC is an absurd comedy set in a neglected dream therapy facility. Each week desperate patients have their dreams recorded and analyzed by Dream Corp’s absent-minded professor, Dr. Roberts (Jon Gries), and his team of unremarkable scientists.

The Venture Bros.
The Venture Bros. co-creators Jackson Publick & Doc Hammer will take the stage to dive into the Venture world and discuss their fan-favorite original series on Adult Swim.

Vulture Presents Saturday Night Live, the Day After — SNL Head Writers in Conversation With Jesse David Fox – Room 1A24

Heading into the television institution’s 42nd season, Bryan Tucker, Sarah Schneider and Chris Kelly have been tasked by Lorne Michaels to steer the ship to the comedy promise land. Talking with Vulture Senior Editor Jesse David Fox, the three will discuss working with different hosts, each’s stand-out sketches, and what they are and are not looking forward to this coming season, which is happening in an election year, if you hadn’t noticed.
