On Saturday November 12th at 8pm, Comics Come Home 2016 will take place at the TD Garden in Boston, MA. The tradition continues with another amazing lineup. Bill Burr, Lenny Clarke, Nick DiPaolo, Robert Kelly, Jay Larson, Wendy Liebman, and Wanda Sykes will join Denis Leary for the annual comedy benefit. The showcase raises money for The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care.
The event was founded in 1994 by Leary and Jim Serpico who heads up Apostle, a TV/Film Production and Management company (Rescue Me, Maron, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll). In the years since, it’s raised nearly 30 million dollars for the cause.
“Cam launched the Foundation to honor the memory of his parents who both died of cancer and to help those battling the disease,” said Leary. “We created Comics Come Home to raise money and awareness for this important cause. The Boston audience has made this gig a massive success and we once again look forward to making them laugh their asses off to help a truly remarkable charity.”
