What better way to celebrate a Valentine’s Day hangover than with the trailer for season two of Love, Netflix’s hilarious and heartache-y modern rom-com starring Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust.
The series (about to enter its second season, but recently renewed for a third) is lightly based on Rust and co-creator Lesley Arfin’s IRL relationship – theirs ended in marriage, but we’ll have to wait and see where Love’s Mickey (Jacobs) and Gus (Rust) end up.
The first season saw their unexpected meeting and self-destructive courtship – acted out in front of bad exes (like Kyle Kinane) and well-meaning friends (like Bobby Lee and Claudia O’Doherty) – and judging by this trailer, the second season finds uptight Gus in a bit of a downward spiral while erratic Mickey seems to be getting her shit together (or trying, at least).
Season two drops on Netflix March 10th.
