This past weekend, Comedy Central’s first ever Colossal Clusterfest descended upon downtown San Francisco, turning the Bill Graham Civic Center into an interactive, multi-stage playground featuring comedy shows, live music, and lots more.
If you missed the fest itself, don’t fret: thanks to Comedy Central’s Colossal Clusterfest mini-documentary, you can still see highlights from the weekend’s performances (with Broad City, Kevin Hart, Hannibal Burress, the Always Sunny cast, Ice Cube, and others), and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the fest grounds – which featured, among other things, a mini South Park town you could stroll through, and re-creations of the Seinfeld apartment and a fully functional Paddy’s Pub.
The fest truly was colossal, with shows ranging from stand-up to improv to things like a live read of the Wayne’s World script (with Broad City‘s Abbi and Ilana as Garth and Wayne, respectively), Condragulations (featuring performances from comics / RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Alaska Thunderfuck, Bob the Drag Queen, Ginger Minj, and Jujubee), The Goddamn Comedy Jam (featuring an exceptional rendition of Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff” from Big Jay Oakerson), and so much more.
