It’s going to be a great weekend – the eighth annual Pardcast-A-Thon is finally here!
A marathon podcast session hosted by Never Not Funny’s Jimmy Pardo, the Pardcast-A-Thon started as an overnight recording session featuring a rotating panel of guests; in the eight years Pardo’s been presenting the event, it’s evolved into a major money-raiser for the charity, Smile Train (a non-profit that provides cleft palate surgery to children in developing countries). The marathon has also moved to a much more reasonable noon-to-midnight time slot – though the move to daytime doesn’t stop the delirium from setting in eventually, making the show a must-watch for fans of organic chaos.
This year’s ‘Thon will host many returning guests, including Jon Hamm, Sarah Silverman, Scott Aukerman, Paul F. Tompkins, and Lauren Ash, plus visits from Kumail Nanjiani, Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Randall Park (Fresh Off The Boat), and Youtuber’s Rhett and Link.
The live show – which takes place at Flappers Comedy Club in Los Angeles – is very sold out, but luckily, the twelve-hour event will be livestreamed in its entirety at Pardcast.com. It all starts at 12pm PST (3pm EST) on Saturday, March 4th.
