Hannibal Buress is diversifying, the comedian/actor is branching out into sports, by becoming an official sponsor of Brazilian WMMA fighter Janaisa Morandin. An idea he discussed on a recent episode of his podcast, The Handsome Rambler.
And his sponsorship comes with some sweet perks, like a fun new uniform emblazoned with Buress’ face:
Buress told MMAfighting.com all about his decision to sponsor Morandin, who currently holds a 9-0 record. “I looked at her highlights,” he says of the legwork he put in. “I saw she was undefeated and watched some clips and stuff. I liked the nickname ‘Evil Princess.’ The decision, it was thoughtful and impulsive at the same time…There wasn’t a lot of science to it. I just like to do different things and just have different experiences.
