Here’s your first look at “Better Things” from Louis C.K. and Pamala Adlon

Better Things is an upcoming comedy series created by Louis C.K. and Pamela Adlon for FX, starring Adlon as a divorced actress who raises her three daughters by herself. FX gave a 10-episode order back on August 7, 2015 so it’s been a long time coming. The series is scheduled to premiere on September 8th, 2016. Pamal Adlon is an actress, voice actress, screenwriter, and producer. She is best known for her voice work, in particular as the voice of Bobby Hill on King of the Hill for which she won an Emmy Award, as well as the title character of Pajama Sam. She is also known for playing Dolores in Grease 2 and Ashley Spinelli on the animated series Recess, and for her appearances on Californication and Louie, on which she is also a consulting producer. Louis C.K.’s voice can currently be heard in the animated feature The Secret Life of Pets which is in theaters now. You can also watch him in the series Horace and Pete which airs on his own website.
