Iliza Shlesinger on The Tonight Show, “After 30, your friends don’t care if you die shivering alone in a forest”

Comedian Iliza Shlesinger tells jokes about hating Las Vegas and what happens to your girl squad after age 30 during her stand-up set on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

Shlesinger is the only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Her debut one-hour comedy special, War Paint, reached #1 on the iTunes charts and was named one of its Top 10 Albums of 2013. Her follow-up, Freezing Hot, a Netflix Original Comedy Special, sealed her title as one of the hottest touring acts in America. In September, 2016, she premiered her latest Netflix special, Confirmed Kills, which finds the comedian in top form, tackling poignant topics while not trading on laughs.

Freeform (formerly ABC Family) recently partnered with Shlesinger to develop her own late night series – a lifelong goal of hers. She created, and is currently scripting, a pilot for ABC Network which will be a starring vehicle for an older actress. Additionally, her digital scripted series, Forever 31 is currently streaming on ABC and Hulu and has already been picked up for a second season. In Spring 2017, Weinstein Books will publish her first book Girl Logic.

Shlesinger’s television credits include multiple appearances on NBC’S Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Comedy Central, Hollywood Game Night, Chelsea Lately, Arsenio and Late Night with Carson Daly as well as hosting 230 episodes for the CBS syndicated show Excused and the TBS show Separation Anxiety in 2016.
