Comedian James Davis is bringing his new series, Hood Adjacent, to TV screens everywhere later this summer — and the new trailer gives you a taste of what to expect from the show, which explores (you guessed it) “hood adjacent” communities with a comic take.
In this clip, Davis — who was just named to of GQ‘s “New Class of Comedians” — raps a quick intro to Hood Adjacent, defining the term while he takes a leisurely bike ride through both “hood” and “adjacent” streets.
The show’s inspired by his wildly popular Snapshat series, Swag-A-Saurus, which you can check out on Comedy Central’s site right now.
Hood Adjacent premieres June 28th.
