On the heels of having the #1 stand-up comedy album, in the country with And I’m Not Lying, (and appearing on The Laugh Button podcast) comedian/storyteller Jeff Simmermon is planning to release his album on pink pressed vinyl.
Simmermon just set up an indigogo to try to raise the money to support the something he’s wanted to do for a long time stating, “I’ve wanted to produce my own record on actual vinyl ever since I started listening to Steve Martin records in my bedroom in the 6th grade – and now that my first comedy album is coming out, it’s a perfect time to do a limited run of the record.”
Once you trek to the fundraising page, you’ll notice that Simmermon does a full breakdown on what it costs to print the album and that he’s already 75% close to reaching his goal. There are also some perks for funders, including some coaching, limited edition picture disc, bonus tracks, and the opp for him to perform in your town. Get on it.
