It was a pleasant surprise for many when the legendary comic Jerry Seinfeld popped up into Stand-Up NY on Memorial Day. The show also marked with the performances of George Wallace and Judah Friedlander. The show also marked the presence of Godfrey.
What was more surprising when he told the manager that he would be back in 30 minutes and “would try bringing in people.” It only took him a mere Tweet stating that he would be talking on stage which made the crowd come in.
To fans’ surprise, the talented man gave out an interesting 25 minute set without any prior knowledge or information. “The Seinfeld,” it is reported, created that set in 25 minutes, which the audience found the set to be “amazing.” Not many comedians dare to venture in the route, and all those present were amazed to know that he wasn’t prepared. Even musicians experience nervousness during live shows, a reason that many choose only to lip sync than sing it out, and here was one comedian, doing an impromptu show that you could only adore!
About the Show
The impromptu show did not only mark the 25-minute set but was also followed by a Question and Answer session. He was happy and responded to the questions in a witty, funny and amusing manner as he always does. A striking answer to one of his questions came to be interesting. He stated how he has done everything he wanted to- so now his favorite work “is to perform in front of an audience like this.”
While some of his fans showed dissatisfaction over the fact that they could not be the witness of his show and his performance because well, they didn’t know it was going to happen, their love for Jerry Seinfeld remains constant. It is an undeniable fact that Jerry Seinfeld has a personality and style that is unbeatable. He creates an aura and an atmosphere that drives people and he captures attention.
