Last night, NYC-based comedian Joe List was out on the West Coast, taking that stage at Conan to talk about how traumatic it is to be a comic, and how he’s terrified of anything happening to his teeth.
Turns out, List still isn’t over a surprise dentist visit his mom sprung on him years ago, and he’s got a lot of venting to do. “I don’t even know what an adnoid is, because they were stolen from me!” he rails, before launching into another horrifying health story, about his appendicitis.
It’s been just over a year since list, co-host of the Tuesdays with Stories podcast, last visited Conan; in the meantime, he’s released an album, Are You Mad At Me?, which is out now.
And while List was airing on Conan, his fiance, stand-up Sarah Tollemache, was making her network debut over on The Late Show.
