We’re excited to announce our next show in The Laugh Button Presents series. On Thursday, November 3rd, we’ll be presenting Chris D’Elia live at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.
Chris D’Elia is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. He’s best known for his roles as Alex Miller on the NBC sitcom Whitney as well as his role as Danny Burton on the sitcom Undateable, which was also on NBC.
Originally from New Jersey, D’Elia eventually relocated to Los Angeles with his family. From there he started acting picking up some small roles and appearances including one on Chicago Hope. His other notable television work includes Workaholics, Sullivan & Son, and Sanjay and Craig. Over the years, he’s appeared in several films when not working on various TV projects including Celeste and Jesse Forever and Flock of Dudes. With that said, he’s got four more films in production at the moment including XOXO starring Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland, Half Magic starring Heather Graham and Thomas Lennon, Band Aid starring Colin Hanks, Fred Armisen, and Adam Pally, and finally The Female Brain from Whitney Cummings starring Sofia Vergara, Cecily Strong, and Deon Cole.
As a comic, Chris D’Elia has released two stand-up specials, 2013’s White Male, Black Comic for Comedy Central and 2015’s Incorrigible for Netflix. You can also check out his Ten Minute Podcast right here alongside Will Sasso. And let’s not fail to mention the rap album he released under the name Chank Smith entitled Such is Life.
