Mark your calendars: on May 30th, Netflix will drop a new special from stand-up comic Sarah Silverman.
The as-yet-untitled special will shoot later this month, helmed by director Liam Lynch, who’s also behind past Silverman hits We Are Miracles (2013) and Jesus is Magic (2005). No word on where it’ll tape, though the choice to film her last hour, We Are Miracles, in Largo LA’s tiny side bar hints this one might end up somewhere slightly unconventional, too.
Netflix recently made waves when they announced a slate of highly anticipated specials from Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and Jerry Seinfeld – and with everything they’ve got coming up this year, they’re seriously positioned to become one of the world’s biggest comedy producers.
