Sharing a Broadway stage together has apparently strained comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney’s friendship, if their tense appearance on Conan is to be believed (it isn’t).
Fresh off a highly acclaimed run of their character-drive comedy Oh, Hello, Kroll and Mulaney stop by Conan to talk about what they’ve got planned next – but when Kroll insists on making his own separate entrance, tensions arise, and the two admit they haven’t been talking.
It takes more than a falling out about Mulaney’s memoir – Nick Nack, This Guy’s Wack, Give the Freak a Bone? – to tear these two old pals apart. Luckily, Conan coaches them through the crisis, and even manages to get some info on their favorite new movies and their fear of cockroaches, too.
