Another day, another revelation about Gregg “Opie” Hughes, formerly of The Opie & Anthony Show and the Opie with Jimmy Show. This morning, Opie released another video featuring updates written in sand on the beach.
The message reads, “Back tomorrow 3pm. I did NOT want to leave mornings. Short term deal. They wanted longer. I said no f*cking way. Will do a great show. Gotta go get worms,” then the camera panned to a fishing pole stuck in the sand.
Opie has been off the air for two weeks since before his previous contract expired at the beginning of October. His former co-host Jim Norton and producer Sam Roberts have been hosting morning shows on the Opie Radio channel since.
