Pete Holmes, creator and star of new HBO comedy Crashing, caught up with his old boss, Conan O’Brien, last night. O’Brien, who produced The Pete Holmes Show, has lots of
questions about the stand-up’s new mostly-autobiographical series – where he plays a young comic whose divorce helps spark his career – but first, Conan calls Holmes out for being late to the taping, which inspires a very Seinfeld-ian rant against map app Waze. Holmes also talks about how being on billboards in LA isn’t really that impressive, and the dangers of preteding you’re a movie star.
