Rhea Butcher announced the release of her debut new comedy album Butcher on Kill Rock Stars on August 19th. Recorded live in Portland, OR, Butcher perfectly showcases Rhea’s brilliant takes on vegetarian dog ownership, her wardrobe and mistaken identity, her Ohio roots, and much more.
Rhea Butcher is a Los Angeles-based standup comic, actor and writer. Originally from the Midwest, Rhea grew up skateboarding the mean streets of Akron, Ohio. Her blue collar brand of cool has endeared her to audiences nationwide, as she performs standup and appears on television shows such as @midnight. Butcher’s first television series, Take My Wife premieres on August 11th on Seeso. Additionally this year, Butcher will be a recurring performer on the truTv series Adam Ruins Everything, and continue to co-host the popular web series She Said on Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls Network and LA’s weekly live stand-up show and podcast Put Your Hands Together.
Last week, Butcher made her late night debut with a set on Conan to talk about fulfilling the prophecy of her ancestors, life as an only child, and the band Tool.
