Saturday Night Live is set to capitalize on its most watched season in eight years by delivering an hour-long worth of political comedy gold. The 2016 SNL Election Special has landed it’s date and time and will air on Monday, November 7th at 10pm ET. The special will retrace the highlights of the current presidential campaign through clips of recent political Saturday Night Live sketches.
There have been a lot of memorable sketches already generated from what some have called the craziest election campaign to date. No word yet whether any “actual” Donald Trump footage will be included from his recent hosting stint on the show. But we will get to enjoy Alec Baldwin’s stellar performance as “The Donald” as well as Kate McKinnon’s spot on Hillary.
