Adult Swim has finally released the first teaser for season three of Rick and Morty – sort of.
The animated show, co-created by Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland, ended its second season way back in the fall of 2015, with a third slated for an eventual, as-yet-unconfirmed release date.
Rick and Morty‘s many fans have been going crazy waiting for new episodes, so when Adult Swim Australia posted this “EXCLUSIVE! SEASON 3 Opening Scene!” it seemed we’d finally get a much-anticipated update, or at least a release date.
Unfortunately, it was just a joke – but hopefully, one that means we’ll be seeing season three soon.
