Seth Rogen and James Franco are teaming up again – this time, they’ll be co-producing a new Hulu series from writer Kelly Oxford. Details are still vague, but Variety reports it’ll be an hour-long comedy set in the 90s.
Oxford, a well known Twitter personality, is the author of the bestselling essay collection Everything is Perfect When You’re a Liar and the forthcoming book When You Find Out the World is Against You. She appeared on Nicole Richie’s reality show, Candidly Nicole, and also in Franco’s latest film, The Disaster Artist, which recently premiered at SXSW.
Oxford’s known for her snarky humor and impeccable, 90s-inspired style, so it seems like a natural fit for her to have scripted the kind of throwback comedy that’d appeal to Rogen and Franco, both vets of cult hit teen comedy Freaks and Geeks.
The series will premiere on Hulu sometime in 2018.
