Showtime’s “Dice” renewed for season two

Dice

The six episode first season of Showtime’s Dice flew under the radar just a bit, but not enough for the show to be cancelled, in fact Dice has been renewed for a second season.

Dice follows the home and work lives of comedian Andrew Dice Clay. Kevin Corrigan also stars, while guests include Natasha Leggero, Lorraine Bracco, Adrien Brody, Michael Rapaport, Wayne Newton, Criss Angel and Rita Rudner joined in on the first season. The second season, according to Variety, “will dig deeper into the many facets of Clay, beyond the character who once sold out Madison Square Garden, as the unemployed comic struggles in the Las Vegas suburbs to be a loving father, a devoted boyfriend and a professional gambler who is stuck dealing with the effects of his outrageous brand of fame.”
