Excellent news Skanks (fans of the Legion of Skanks podcast, that is): Skankfest, the weekend-long celebration of all things LoS that took over New York City’s Creek and the Cave comedy club last summer, will be returning for a second year!
Skankfest 2017 will be back at the Creek, from Friday, June 23rd through Sunday, June 25th. The Legion of Skanks boys – Big Jay Oakerson, Luis J. Gomez, and Dave Smith – will be on hand, along with a lineup that won’t be announced until April 3rd (at 9am EST).
You’ll have to wait until then to find out who’s going to be there, but next Monday, March 20th, you can grab your pre-sale ticket for a discounted price.
Last year’s festival was a full weekend party, with packed shows, live podcast recordings (including The Laugh Button!) – even a tattoo artist on hand to immortalize everyone’s Skankfest memories. And the shows were insane: the one and only Doug Stanhope, who famously doesn’t do festivals, was there, along with Todd Glass, Michael Che, Robert Kelly, Sal Vulcano, and many more LoS friends.
