Bombay-born comedian and Bollywood star Vir Das made his American late night debut last night, with a stand-up set on Conan to promote his new special, Abroad Understanding.
Filmed in both New Delhi and New York, Abroad Understanding is a unique stand-up special that bridges culture gaps, and Das’s stand-up set on Conan gave a great glimpse of how well he does it. “I’m from India, have any of you been?” he opens. “If you haven’t been you must go, because your jobs have.”
