The ‘ole Colbert from the Colbert Report made his return on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Complete with sword in the air and Captain America shield in hand, he made a grand entrance the only way he knows how. With his “C” symbol lit up brighter than the sun, he took to the stage and eventually found his way behind the desk. “Hello Nation, please have a seat because you deserve it. You’re the it getters.” Colbert, the conservative pundit discussed Obama’s last day with his segment Tonight’s “Werd.” He delivered this line about the Obama years saying, “Every year of the Obama regime felt like he was strangling a bald eagle with the American flag while taking a dump on an apple pie.”
