Comedy Central is adding a new late night show, and it’ll be an envelope-pusher: The Jim Jefferies Show, hosted by outspoken Aussie comic Jim Jefferies, debuts next month.
In the very first clip from the series, host Jefferies explains why he thinks we should get rid of waiting periods to buy guns, in a segment called “Hear Him Out.”
Jefferies’ was recently in the news for flipping off Trump supporter Piers Morgan on Real Time with Bill Maher, and his most recent special, Freedumb, unapologetically skewers the ideals of American society, so we don’t have to wonder what angle Jefferies will take in reporting “the week’s top stories from behind his desk and travel[ing] the globe to far-off locations to provide an eye opening look at hypocrisy around the world.”
The Jim Jefferies Show premieres June 6th on Comedy Central, with 10 episodes airing Tuesdays at 10:30pm.
