This week in Comedy: Jeff Ross roasts the history of the US as Colin Quinn tries to break it up

Monday is Memorial Day, a day that we not only celebrate those that defended our country but it’s also intertwined with those that helped shape it. So on Monday, there are two different comedians talking about the history that shaped us. First on Netflix, Jeff Ross is bringing the roast of historical figures to life for his new series. Teaming up with other comedians in character as some of histories most notorious celebs, political leaders, and athletes. Just because they’re dead, doesn’t mean they’re safe from getting flamed by the Roastmaster General. Also, over on CNN comedian Colin Quinn will deliver his latest one man show Red State, Blue State. Quinn runs down the history of America’s political parties and how we got to where we’re at. Quinn’s shows of late have been incredibly informative from a historical perspective while being as biting and hilarious as a man like Colin Quinn can do.
