The Comedy Cellar in New York is one of the most iconic comedy clubs in the nation, serving as a home base for some of comedies biggest names past and present. Many comedians consider getting passed (becoming a paid regular) at the club a high watermark on their resume in becoming a professional stand-up comedian. This week Comedy Central will debut its new series taped live at the Comedy Cellar. Beginning Friday nights at 12 midnight you can catch some of the best comics working at the club tackling some of the biggest news stories of the week in front of a live comedy audience.
