Season 42 of Saturday Night Live is off to an excellent start and both the social response and television numbers reflect that. And now, the late night sketch show has just added two more top names in their respective fields to this season’s lineup.
The October 22nd episode will be hosted by Tom Hanks, who is nearing 10 appearances on SNL in his storied career. He will be joined by Lady Gaga as musical guest. Hanks can currently be seen in Sully, in theaters now, and the upcoming film Inferno. Lady Gaga is on the verge of releasing her new album Joanne. You’ll have exactly one day to get familiar with the songs before her SNL performance as it comes out on the 21st of October.
