Matt Walsh, Veep star and UCB co-founder, visited his pal Stephen Colbert over at The Late Show recently, and while he was backstage he took the time to put together some pro tips for wannabe podcasters.
Walsh is particularly equipped to offer advice: he’s been an accomplished comic for over three decades, helping launch a multi-city comedy training center and literally writing the book on how to master improv. Basically, nobody does DIY comedy better than Walsh and his peers.
A frequent podcast guest – on shows like improv4humans and Comedy Bang! Bang! – Walsh is also the host of his own show, UCB Sports & Leisure, and co-hosted the now-ended Bear Down (about Chicago sports), so he knows what he’s talking about.
