Kliph Nesteroff is a former comedian, current writer of the book, The Comedians. Which is a look at the history of comedy. Nesteroff is now following up that book with a Viceland special called, Funny How? which follows Nesteroff around as he investigates the “broad themes of the profession.” In the process he runs into a bunch of great comics like Dave Attell, Mike Birbiglia, Rhea Butcher, Cameron Esposito, and Pete Holmes. The special will air as a week-long series on Viceland between July 10th and 14th.
