Hot off a weekend of Clusterfest-ering Comedy Central isn’t letting up on the gas at all as it rolls out two new shows this week. The first comes on Tuesday with the debut of a new late night show hosted by Jim Jefferies. With him hitting the news for flipping off Trump supporter Piers Morgan on Real Time with Bill Maher, and his most recent special, Freedumb, unapologetically skewers the ideals of American society, so we don’t have to wonder what angle Jefferies will take in reporting “the week’s top stories from behind his desk and travel[ing] the globe to far-off locations to provide an eye opening look at hypocrisy around the world.” The Jim Jefferies Show sounds like it should fill that void by those longing for the return of The Jeselnik Offensive.
Then, at the end of the week on Sunday, Jordan Klepper will fix the nation’s gun issues with Jordan Klepper Solves Guns. An in-depth look at the nation’s obsession with guns and how Klepper plans to solve it. It’s a good look at Klepper helming his own show before he takes over the coveted 11:30pm weeknight slot after The Daily Show.
