Buckle up because it’s the beginning of the end for FOX’s New Girl. The sitcom that introduced us to the drinking game True American is starting its 7th and final season. Season 7 is said to make a time jump by a few years with couples a bit more settled, Schmidt and Cee’s child is born and maybe everyone is just growing up a bit.
Then, on Friday, Wyatt Cenac’s new HBO series Problem Areas is set to premiere. It will be an examination of the wide range of social and cultural problems facing Americans. In addition to in-studio commentary on current events, the show will feature documentary-style field reports that serve as the focal point of each episode. The show will take Cenac around the country as he investigates the systemic issues from his unique perspective. But it will not always be heavy topics, Cenac will also tackle some of the more benign problems facing America as he offers comedic solutions to everyday inconveniences.
